BY YOURSELF:
Use a straight edge to draw a line below.  Draw a point on that line near the center.  From this point, you will be drawing two rays on the same side of the line.  These rays and line will result in three angles.  Draw the angles so that no two angles are alike.  Use the three angles to form a triangle by placing a piece of paper of them and tracing.  Switch angles with your partner and draw another triangle.
 
 

WITH YOUR PARTNER:
Compare the triangle you made with your partner.  Are they congruent? Why or why not? What similarities can you find between the two triangles?
