    Description:
    This course deals with the elements of teaching mathematics using technology, with an emphasis on standards-based instruction. "Standards-based" refers to both the NCTM Standards (Principles and Standards for School Mathematics 2000) and the Illinois Learning Standards. Practice will be provided in developing and presenting lessons at a variety of grade levels and subject matter topics. The course is intended to help fulfill the State of Illinois teacher certification requirements.
