Are you ready to learn?
Now that you are finishing up high school,
you are practically an adult. This means
you get to take more responsibility for
your own learning. As your teachers, we
recognize that we need to work with you on
real world challenges that will prepare
you for college or any other challenge you
decide to take on. That's why many of the
activities you work on at this school will
involve hands-on, problem-solving, or
technological activities.
Like all students, you
are an intelligent learner because of your
past experiences. Don't be surprised when
we ask you to do a challenging activity or
push you to figure something out on your
own. Use your previous knowledge and your
friends as resources. Ask questions.
Experiment. If you find a solution you
believe is correct, have the confidence to
explain it to someone else.
