Slope of a Line Using Geometer's Sketchpad
Topic:
Review of slope using the slope-intercept form, and parallel and
perpendicular lines.
Objective:
The objectives today are to use the geometric sketchpad to review the
topics of slopes, equations of a line and the slope-intercept form and be able to communicate
the results on paper.
Level:
8th Grade Algebra I
Technology Used:
This project uses Geometer's Sketchpad on the computer.
Prior Knowledge:
Slope of a line, slope-intercept form, equation of a line, parallel
and perpendiculal lines.
Materials:
You need Geometer's Sketchpad open with a paper and pencil.
