Halleys Comet,

Halleys was first recognized between 1048 BC to 240 BC, unfortunitly we don't have pictures of that. Since then its been comingabout every 75 years. Halley's Comet was named after Emund Halley, who predicted its orbit, unfortunitly he died before he could see his prediction come true. Halley's most famous apearence was at 1066 AD before the battle of Hastings.

The last time Halleys Comet came was 1986, where it came within .46 AU, the worst view in 2000 years, , before that it came in 1910 (see picture below)

Mark Twain was born when Halleys Comet came, and you guesst it, he also died when Halleys Comet came 75 years later.
